ADAVCO is delighted to announce that it has been honoured by the Institute of Transport Management
Patrick Sheedy, Media and PR Director of ITM announced that:
Birmingham 25th April 2005 - With the fast pace of legislative changes taking place, increased competitiveness and heightened security awareness, Airport and Airline operators are now looking for extra peace of mind. Consequently there is a growing need for consultants and support services to develop new and varied solutions, such as strategic and fleet planning; air traffic forecasting and management, as airports and airlines seek to minimise their potential exposure. It is for this reason that the Institute of Transport Management has singled out ADAVCO for the specialist Award of Excellence for the title of ‘Aviation Management Consultancy 2005’.
The Institute’s ‘Aviation Programme 2004/5’ was instigated to examine the whole area of airline and airport management, focusing particular attention on the evolution and development of airlines and airports, the role of consultancy and training in regard to the business of airline and airport operations, and the influence of trends and determinants affecting the industry.
In researching Companies in the category of ‘Aviation Management Consultancy’, the main emphasis was to focus particular attention those operating on the theory and practice of strategic management, commercial management, environmental management and the globalization issues in the air transport industry.
Announcing the Award, Mr. Patrick Sheedy, Media & PR Director for the Institute of Transport Management, said: “In today's rapidly changing air transport environment, governments, airlines and airport authorities are facing increasingly complex and often conflicting pressures. Effective management, planning and training can help to solve these problems but the industry requires access to advanced and comprehensive knowledge, coupled with an in-depth understanding of its needs.
Continuing Mr. Sheedy said: “When ADAVCO was established its stated aim was to ensure that a better service could not be found, and judging by the favorable comments received from the Institute’s members, the company has gone a long way to achieving its goal. The success of ADAVCO in recent years has as much to do with its ability to call on a strong network of independent consultants, as well as its broad range of customer-focused consulting and support services, and as such the Institute is delighted to recognise ADAVCO’s ongoing success by awarding them this accreditation.
Mr. Sheedy concludes: “In honouring ADAVCO with this Award, the ITM is paying tribute to an independent company which, through its highly-qualified team of consultants - providing a broad range of advisory services - is helping to raise the overall technological and professional standards of the aviation sector.
“Finally, it only remains for me to congratulate all at ADAVCO on this great achievement and wish them continued success in the future”.
In accepting this prestigious award Roland Voss, Managing Partner, stated:
“ It is a testament to ADAVCO’s commitment to delivering the highest quality of service to our clients that our peers have judged the team at ADAVCO to be one of the industry leaders. This award reinforces that commitment and provides the platform to raise the bar again.”
Tobias Rückerl, Managing Partner:
"We are delighted that our work is honoured with this award. We thank all our clients, colleagues, families and friends and take the award as further motivation"
